What does a burning kind of pain mean? - lateral release plica
I underwent knee surgery (lateral release, medial reefing, and excision of plica) 6 weeks.
I have 30 degrees of ROM and is still significant swelling visible. Pt I began this week after it in an immobilizer.
I), difficult to describe all types of pain in the knee, even boring, stabbing pain, almost like a sort of warm feeling of burning pain (in. The pain is the confusing nature of burning pain I ever felt. On the inside of the knee was performed in which internal retractor.
I have the greatest pain, which I believe is the reef on the inside, as the medial side, if you are quiet and not so painful?
In addition, my physical therapist as to what was medial reefing confused. I thought that was the case TighTEN in the area through the use of stitches and I've shown a picture that FiberWire reefing medial knee arthroscopy says, but I thought pt suture closure of sites. Can you tell me more? What was Terry? The stitches are still? I think my PT thought to call my doctor, but it is very confusing, since said he had patients medial reefing.
I know I ask many questions, which should have found my doctor, but he is very busy these days.
Thank you:)
